Theme Editor
Edit the tool box's colors while you look at them. Every change applies to the live interface as you drag.

What it does
Live, not apply-and-see
Color pickers, size spinners and a font chooser for the current theme. Drag a color and the whole tool box changes as you go.
Start from a built-in theme
Maya Dark matches Maya's own greys. There is a light theme, a handful of code-editor darks, and a green-on-black one for the mood. Pick one, change what you like, and Save As gives you your own.
Tools bring their own colors
Tools add values of their own, such as an outliner's branch lines or a time slider's key ticks. They appear in a group named after the tool and save with the theme.
One tool, its own theme
Any single tool can wear a different theme from the rest, from a button on its title bar. Useful for telling two outliners apart at a glance.
Share it
Export a theme as one file and send it to a colleague, who brings it in from the Themes menu. Layouts remember which theme they were wearing.
All the way down
A second tab edits the style sheet underneath, for anyone who wants to change shapes and spacing as well as colors. Revert puts the saved theme back at any time.
What it does not do
It restyles the tool box and the tools inside it. It does not restyle Maya. Built-in themes are read-only, so you cannot break one: Save writes to a theme of your own, and Revert discards whatever you have not saved.
